Best Westerns are nice hotels, should be good.  With your sis & hubby there means you will have a car and can drive to the MGM.  We are not getting a car, we figure we can take the monorail if we want to go somewhere we can't walk to.

We are staying the same as you, Thurs. to Sunday.  I don't book flt and hotel together because I can never get the right take off and arrival times  for my kids who will take me and pick me up from the Colorado Springs airport.  Looking forward to meeting you there.

I have booked a hotel, the BW Mardi Gras.  It is on this website: www.vegasview.com.  The website showed a lot of hotels, most were too expensive bearing in mind what I have paid for the flight and show ticket, this one is in the cheaper price range, average $62 per night, but still looks nice.

Also you usually get a further discount, I got 20% off.

My sis and bruv in law are coming as well, we are all staying for 30/8 - 2/9 then we are going to LA where they live.  It will be nice to go round LV with them, they know it quite well.

How I wish I had booked a hotel and flight as a package, it would have been cheaper, but I didnt think about it!

I have booked my flight, arriving on the Thursday evening.  I didnt want to arrive on Friday, just in case the flight was delayed, I dont want to pay for a ticket to see him plus air fare and hotel, and then miss the show!  My sis and bruv in law live in LA, and they are coming to stay with me in Las Vegas.   They are booking the hotel for us all, I havent heard from them yet as to which one it is, I suggested the ones on this site, the Excalibur, the Tropicana and New York New York.

You are lucky to be seeing him again in Denver, I can only afford to go once.  I will be annoyed if he then announces LA dates, and the dates I have booked my flights for arent in that time!  I cant change the booking because it was a cheap flight.  

If he does a show in LA and I am there in that time, I might be able to afford to go again.

Hi Trisha, Your welcome.  I booked my flight, flying in on Thursday.  Maybe we could meet Friday or Saturday morn.  When it gets closer will put a meeting together thats good for all of us.  When I was in the tiers it slopped also, but two men in the row ahead of me stood up and I couldn't see him at all.  I wish I had tried sooner, I didn't get mine until Friday the 2nd, would love to have the second row but doubt it.  Like you I won't know either until we pick them up.  Denver tickets didn't go on sale for a while, so I jumped on those as soon as they did  at 10:00 a.m. and by 10:03 I had my order completed.

Hi Lorelei, thanks for starting this group. It would be great to meet with you and Jackie before the show.  I havent booked my flights or accomm yet, must get a move on.  My experience of seating at his shows sounds different to yours, even tho he is above us on the stage on the floor seating, I found if I had one tall person in front of me, I could only see his head.  But when I was in the tier seating, 3 rows from the front, I could see fine above the people in front because the floor there was sloped, but flat on the floor seating.  I wanted the tier seat again this time, but when I saw I could book a VIP package with master card I booked it, else if I had waited till 5th December for the tiers, all the good seats might have gone.  I wish I had seen your post sooner when you said you had booked the VIP package with mastercard, then I could have got a row nearer the front!  I wont know until I pick up the ticket what row and seat it will be.  I dont see why they cant tell us sooner, as they are allocated on a first come first served basis.
