I read a quote somewhere where he said that he may as well flaunt his hair while he had it, as it wouldnt always be there.  Most men lose their hair as they get older, so he would have known.  

We dont know what he thinks about having lost most of his amazing hair, maybe it bugs him or maybe he is accepting of it.  (Altho maybe not totally accepting otherwise he wouldnt wear a hairpiece!!).

If only somone could find a real cure for baldness and thinning hair!  My hair is thinner and I have also lost some down the sides at the front.  I would give anything to get it back.

I see a lot of people whose hair has gotten thinner over time.  I'm sorry to hear you having that problem.  Perhaps it's in ones genes.  So far I'm fortunate in that my hair has not thinned out nor have I lost any  As a matter of fact I'm always trimming it as it grows so fast.  I get a lot of compliments espeecially since it turned slowly over the years into a nice silver which everyone seems to admire.  My husband had a good head of hair too and loved mine.

I heard years ago that the more you cut your hair the more it grows back - sometimes even thicker which in my case it seems to have done.  Don't quote me on this I really don't know how true it is.

I still think in Neil's case it may be the genes.  I only say that because of the pics I saw of his father and brother.  All hereiitary  - I guess that's why they invented wigs and hairpieces.  Makes sense to me, but what do I know......
