I dont know, but his reminds me I must look at it again as it was so lovely, before it is sold and comes off the website.  Maybe its gone already.  Houses are very hard to sell tho in the current climate so I wouldnt be surprised if it isnt sold.  Bad news for Neil, but it gives us longer to look at it!

Good article for you to read...hope you can open the link ok...Hugs, Sue xxx

Unfortunately I think the author of the article got one thing wrong.  The Malibu Christmas Party was NOT held at the Malibu Colony Beach House that Neil has/had for sale.  Neil has had two Malibu Beach houses.  The one for the Party was a  smaller home and the party was held in a clear plastic tent outside the actual home, on the lawn.  You can tell this when you watch that Sonja Kruger interview.  Here's another site that has some of the same photos and also some new ones.  www.105malibucolony.com  and this one   http://www.sallyforsterjones.com/listings.php?property_ID=226    They both have similar info.  I can't tell if Neil's home was sold, but I would think that his listing would be either removed or updated if it had (if the real estate company is worth their salt it should have been).  Have fun looking at the pretty pictures!

When you click the second link, go to "property status" and it says "withdrawn,"  so it appears it is off the market.  It's an incredible home though  --  no doubt about it.

Oh, I didn't notice that.  Good catch, Patty!  But it's still fun to look at all the beautiful pictures.  Maybe he still owns it and he just took it off the market. I looked around on the net and it seems it may have actually sold--that was the impression I got--but couldn't confirm it.  Well, it certainly is a beautiful home, no matter who owns it!

Just seen the house again, its lovely.  I dont often envy rich people, but its hard not to be envious of a place like this.  Also its very much to my taste... some people dont like the show house look but I do, lots of plain light colours and no clutter.

Someone should call the realtor and ask them if the house sold, was withdrawn, or what.  If sold, what did it sell for, when did it sell/close escrow,  and did the furnishings go with the house.  In some of the pictures in the first link, it appeared that some pieces of furniture had been removed.   Would love to know who the decorator was  --  really did a beautiful job.

Couldn't have said it better myself!

Lol!

LOLOL!  Yeah, it's pretty special, huh!

As an update to my housefixe.com post, I just found this info:

According to information available on the house at Zillow.com, it was sold in May 2011 for $21,450,000 and is available for rent at $200,000 per month.
