Hi Ann, 

I am currently working on a cross stitch of Neil.  I uploaded a photo to myphotostitch.com and it creates a pattern, then I printed it.  I did his face first and it does look like him, but on his shirt, when it saw red and white it made it orange and when it saw a touch of black it made it brown, and when it was black and white it made it gray.  So I am following the picture more than the pattern.  I am using metallic threads and will be outlineing  in black.  I am also writing my life story for my children and I watch my daughter''s 3 year old daughter 2 days a week, which keeps me very busy.  I was out most of today with my son and his family, we went to a movie, then lunch and some shopping.  I love being near my family.  I lived in Hawaii for 12 years and really missed seeing them.

Did the hurricane cause any damage around you?  Alyce is on Long Island in New York and posted pictures of the damage in her neighborhood.

Hi Ann,   Just listened to your songs, very nice!  I  liked the words on the Neil Diamond Melody, had a few laughs on that one.  Stones is one of my favorites.  And your Million Pink Ribbons could be a theme song for the cause.  I bought a guitar with the intent of leaning to play it, but have been busy with other projects.  I used to play the violin is school but that was a looooog time ago, as I am the same age as Neil, well actually he is 4 months older that me.

Dorothy scanned in some articles on Neil, but they were too small to read. One looked like it was from the Daily Mail supplement, and was about Neil and Rae, and referred to her being partially deaf.  Maggie M said she would send me the link to the article, and she left me the message below:

Hello Ann Hello, just listened to your 2 songs - very nice Kudos to you for being able to sing and play guitar, let alone doing your own renditions of Neil's songs..
