To say I was looking forward for 28th June 2011, my first neil diamond concert, would be something of an understatement. Maybe Id over-hyped the whole thing in my head - just a bit.
Id took the day off work. No, to be on the safe side Id taken the week off work. This was the event of the year as far as I was concerned. Im a massive fan, but a fairly recent one compared to most people on this site, now Im making up for it.

Just to remind everyone in England that there will be a repeat of the 'Neil Diamond-Solitary Man documentary followed by his Electric Proms performance on Fri. 8th April 2011, starting at 9.00pm on BBC4. This was first shown late last year.
I do hope all our friends abroad will be able to get this somehow, too. In any case, there are quite a few clips on youtube of the Electric Proms part. Hope you all enjoy.
