'DREAMS'
What a wonderful new addition to Neil Diamond’s many albums. “Dreams” came to me today. I am thrilled with Neil’s song choices. How fun to hear Neil doing a little ‘Eagles’ a little ‘Nelsson’ some ‘Beatles’ and how about that ‘Bill Withers’ song ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’!
His band is truly great; with each and every song I appreciate them more. I have been listening to Neil’s band for decades now and I can’t say that I know very much about them. Tom Hensley, a member of Neil’s band has a CD out ‘Taking America to America’. He says,’… the Neil Diamond band had never done an album of its own. It still hasn't, but this is the closest thing to it.’ It is on my Christmas wish list this year. It is ‘…songs based on humorous pieces from his on-tour newsletter’. This I have to hear!

I agree with you absolutely.I repeat myself, but both Neil's song choises and interpretation are excellent.
And his band is fantastic. "Taking America to America" is awesome album! You'll like it. (Richard Bennett,
who now collaborates with Mark Knopfler, has some truly nice studio albums too.)
