Tomorrow is January 24....This Is A Birthday Wish For Our Guy Neil

January 24, 1941. A boy child was born to Rose & Akeeba Diamond. They named him Neil Leslie. They had no idea that he would bring with him a special gift, the gift of song. Nor did they know that in the future, most of the world would be singing his songs with him in arenas and stages all over the globe. This is a birthday wish for him.

A birthday wish from all of us out here to you.

Years have past but you still mean as much to us,

As that time long past, when we were young.

Your songs, they take us back to sunny days

And soulful nights when we longed to be the one,

To touch your hand and whisper that we care.

Your songs today, they fill us up with thoughts of you,

And the love we share that never dies. God has blessed us

With the gift you gave and keep on giving still.

May the following years be your happiest yet,

With memories as sweet as the ones you hold in your heart right now.

And may your dreams of tomorrow be filled to overflowing

By all those you love and hold dear.

We lull ourselves to sleep each night with the many songs you've given us,

That helped us through the best and worst of times.

We thank you for your beautiful smile, and the time you've spared

To make our life more full.

This is a birthday wish. A happy wish for you,
