I have been listening to Neil Diamond's Brooklyn Roads and he wrote it about his youth and aspirations back in the day 1968 which of course was a time when many of us were defining our own individual life and songs like Neil Diamond sang reflected certain years to which each of us can identify with! Hi Mike, Welcome to SC. Sorry, you're missing that special someone at the moment but hope you'll make lots of new 'friends' here. They're a lively bunch! I just love Brooklyn Roads, one of my favs, certainly. Neil has written and sung so many good songs, each reflecting upon different facets of life. I saw him in concert in Manchester, UK in July, he was just phenomenal. Hope to chat with you over many things...Welcome.
